I went back to dig for some historical information, and it looks like most years it's been around August 22-23, so maybe in another week or so.

I want to know what sort of calculations you feed into Lucy to account for new coachings staffs, player turnover, etc.

I want to know what sort of calculations you feed into Lucy to account for new coachings staffs, player turnover, etc.

Not very reliable ones It's just a prediction based on what returning players are projected to contribute. Doesn't take into account stud new players that have never played Div IA ball. Doesn't take into account new coaching staff either.

That's why all preseason rankings are doodoo. I just like to see how close I get to how things shake out in the end.

Thanks. We already saw that one and know where we rank. (#27) We're just curious as to how it will compare with AP.

I put a schedule together of teams I track each week. Among the teams I track are top 25 teams and I use AP until the BCS rankings come out in week 7. Just wanting to get my groups put together.
