Any stock Guru's out there?

I'm surprised there is no financial board ...or is there and I missed it?


I want to short this market. I'm thinking the easiest way is with a an ETF that shorts the Dow maybe?

However, I want to avoid the mistake that I made with the oil ETF I bought. USO Oil. I did not really do my homework and that ETF is not meant to be held for more than 1 day. The price fluctuation of the ETF moves with the price of oil changes over time. In the end, the price of oil could got back to the price you bought the ETF but the ETF price is lower.

I just want to hear some ideas.
