Coach Will Muschamp said Demps got hit in the shoulder and he didn't know how serious it was. Demps did not play in the second half and was not icing his shoulder about an hour after the game.

--Muschamp reiterated that senior RB Jeff Demps is expected to play against the Vols. Demps left the UAB win late in the first quarter and did not return due to a shoulder injury.
