Ant-Man 2: Ant-Man and the Wasp (2018)

No trailer yet, but new cast members announced at San Diego Comic Con (SDCC) 2017 for it:

- Michelle Pfeiffer cast as Janet Van Dyne / the Wasp

- Laurence Fishburne cast as Bill Foster / Giant-Man / Black Goliath

- Hannah John-Kamen cast as the Ghost (not clear yet if she will be the main villain or a secondary villain)

They're playing mother and daughter, and they're both the Wasp.

Michelle Pfeiffer is the original Wasp. Evangeline Lilly is the new Wasp.

We already knew from the end of the first film, which set it up, that Evangeline Lilly was going to be a Wasp in the second sequel.

The new information out of SDCC is that Michelle Pfeiffer has been cast as her mother.

Yep, she took a few years off from acting. She's back now, not just in this, but also in Murder on the Orient Express.

Interestingly enough, Michelle Pfeiffer becomes the second Catwoman actress with another superheroine role, since Halle Berry, the other Catwoman, also played Storm in the X-Men series.

the ghost is a tech stealing bad guy(in this movie girl)... so it is not far fetched that at a point she may use the tech against Ant man and the wasp...

So, if Michelle Pfeiffer is playing Janet van Dyne, the mother of Evangeline Lilly's character, Hope van Dyne, is that Hank Pym's wife who was lost years ago when she went subatomic? How long ago was that? How'd she survive? I guess we'll find out. And why don't they all have the same last name?
