I am elated. I had nearly lost faith we'd get anything for Q. Much less a Sale type haul!

Yeah they are doing a pretty good job with the rebuild, now that they finally decided to do it right. Maybe they will get something decent for Frazier and Cabrera and Robertson too. They could end up with the best prospects in baseball, they are already probably top 10 now.

Dylan Cease has shown great stuff on the mound, also. 74 K's in 51 innings....has topped 100 mph at times. IMO, the White Sox made put pretty well in this trade.

They're actually number one now, as far as farm systems go... and it isn't even close.

For real? Do you have a link to the latest rsnkings, I am just curious to see who else is stacked in the minors...

Top 10 farm systems by MLB Pipeline

They were probably #1 before this move.

The Yankees and Braves were listed as tops at the start of spring training. However, their top prospects are all big league players now. Judge, Swanson, Newcomb, Torreyes, Frazier...

Adding the #12 overall prospect in Jiminez and another top 100 overall prospect in Nance absolutely pushes them over the top to the undisputed #1 spot. They now have four of the top 20 prospects, and 9 of the top 100. Nobody else can sniff that.

Not to mention, we added Luis Robert. Jesus...

I'd love to see what this team's projected lineup is for 2020. Who fits in from the ball club we have now? Anderson, I would think is at least in the plans. Except I'm losing some faith in him. Maybe Avi if he keeps hitting? What about a guy like Yolmer, does he take on a utility role? Davidson could be a nice bat to have off of the bench, or to platoon... but I don't want him in the lineup every day.

I'm also curious to know if we're fielding calls for Abreu. It wouldn't shock me either way. Assuming D-Rob will be dealt. Hoping Frazier and Melky too. If only for the salary dump.

It's hilarious that we're stuck with "Big Game James" through the end of this. I swear, if he could have came back from his injury and kept pitching well. We may have been able to dump him off.
