Reminds me of a buddy of mine who passed. The only guy I know who actually picked Buster Douglas to beat Tyson. Of course he picked Tyson to lose the 10 fights before that too and the 10 after that. But until he passed the only prediction he remembered was the Douglas fight.

Have a friend who is an Angels fan. At the beginning of every baseball season, he would drive to Vegas and bet $500 on the Angels winning the World Series.

Myself and a few others used to give him shit about it every year and tell him that the Angels would never win it in our lifetimes.

He didn't bet the fight. I have a friend who would always bet the Cubs to win the world series. By the time they actually won so many people were betting on them and they were good so I don't think he won much. I think he got 6 to one. Didn't make up for all his previous bets

Gotcha. The most "to the Cavs" rumors I've heard are with DeAndre Jordan and maybe Louis Williams with him. But even that sounds like it would likely cost the Cavs their Nets' 1st-round pick for next year.
