I don't want to be controversial (that's a bold, bald faced lie) but it's Fairley obvious tLionsBoard has held its own without TPaul better than tLions without Suh.

Suh>TPaul

Hell, we got Lombardi fired courtesy of a petition TPaul refused to sign. If that doesn't force you to question a guys motivations, not sure what will.

I think we miss Tpaul more than Suh. Austins scheme can cover up for Suh's departure. We had no replacement for TP. We dont even have Kreton.

I miss him a little more than I miss the other three.

Disclaimer: I'd rather stick my dick in a toaster than see TPaul come back. Hate to see what I have to do for the others.

Reminds me of an old joke:

Why did the guy fuck the toaster?

Because the coffee maker is a dirty whore.

Early SB MVP = Suh

If he doesn't injure Brady in week 17 and lead the Dolphins to a heroic W over the Patriots, NE has a healthy Tom at home vs the Broncos.

Instead, Denver got a crippled Brady in Mile High, all thanks to Suh.

Denver should be showering Suh with thank you letters.

The Dolphins have the option to restructure Ndamukong Suh's contract this offseason.

Suh signed a gargantuan six-year, $114 million contract last offseason which carries a 2016 cap hit of $28.6 million. The Dolphins have the option to convert his $23.485 million salary into a bonus, spreading the cap hit over the rest of the contract and creating roughly $18 million in immediate space. That decision would have ramifications down the road, but the cap-strapped Dolphins may not have a choice. Miami is one of three teams currently projected to be over the cap.

Suh is already making his presence felt in Miami.

Mayhew / Lewand have been hired by Miami. Kick the can down the road so they will have 30+ mil cap hit per year for the last 4 years of the contract.

Someone needs to make another video with that Mexican guy laughing as Suh's agent.

Not quite. They're simply shaving 18 million off his hit for this coming 2016 season, but adding 4.5 to his 2017-2020 hits.

His new cap hits will look like this:

2016: 10 million
2017: 19 million
2018: 26 million
2019: 28 million
2020: 22 million

This after playing for a base salary of $985,000 in 2015 w a 6 million dollar hit.

Of course, they'll restructure again in 2018. You gotta pay these guys sometime. It's simply spreading it out over the six years he's there vs giving him 60 million. In the first three, which is how his original deal is structured.

Suh's deal isn't the problem. It's Tannehill's. Unless Gase can turn his career around, Miami will (much like the Lions) only go as far as their QB will take them.

Still not good after this year 20-30 mill

They had to convert close to 10 mil to bonus or something this year as well I think and most of the 18 mil in 2016 to spread it out. They will keep him for only 3 more years (maybe only 2) and then cut him is my guess.

He's only guaranteed 60 million. The whole 19 million a year for 6 years is blown out of proportion. He will end up making about 20 million his first two years in Miami. Mayhew was just too stupid to do something similar.

Just substitute "Terrifying" with "Dirtiest" and you have what the rest of the league thinks

"MIAMI - After spending all those millions on DT Ndamukong Suh, Miami's defense ranked 25th overall, 28th against the run. It had 31 sacks; opponents had 45.

And now, sacks leader Olivier Vernon is a Giant." (Yahoo! Sports, 7/19/2016)

Suh may be great, but it's a team effort. I really liked him out of college, but some things aren't worth the price. We needed a defensive team, not a defensive player. And apparently so does Miami now.

Lions D with Suh were a top 3 unit and a playoff team. Worth every penny.

For 1 whole year. They were also bottom half for several years before that with Suh. I wonder what changed?
