This is my face right now after hearing a guy busted with a gun and pot in the car with him failed a drug test:

This is interesting from the article

It's much better than getting addicted to pain pills, or the purple drank like Rolando McClain.

If it takes over their lives and they become potheads who don't function properly, then there is a problem. But if they work hard and do everything they are supposed to do, and they smoke a little weed on the side - I seriously don't even care.

I'll just say this. I don't care about weed, but if you get caught with it in your system at the combine then no way I would draft you. You know you are going to be tested. You have a choice to make. If you make a poor one, than clearly the game isn't that important to you

The NFL policy on weed is incredibly stupid.

But it's their right to be that way, and I agree - if a player doesn't get drafted, or drops down the draft, it's their own damn fault.

It's not as simple as that. Marijuana lasts a lot longer in your system than most other drugs. Marijuana actually gets into the fat cells and can be in your system for a couple of weeks to several months after use depending on how much you use and how big you are.

Much more serious drugs such as speed, coke, meth, etc. can be out of your system in 24-48 hours. So, it's possible that a player could smoke some weed in December or January and still test positive at the combine in February or March.
