UCF can claim whatever they want. I'm happy for their success and loved that they beat Auburn in the bowl game.

But the fucking president came to the national championship game and Alabama came home with an actual National Championship trophy.

UCF had a great season but they are marginally a top 10 team. If simply being undefeated is enough then mid majors should just start making the weakest schedule possible.

It pains me to say this as an Illinois State alumn (since UCF beat us in the NIT last year), but their complaint is legit. What else can a non power conference team do to win a title? This is an even better argument for an 8 team College playoff. Undefeated teams should get a shot no matter what.

Play a better schedule.

And no they shouldn't get in no matter what, because then you don't have to play tough teams to make it and that's lame.
