And they're still not dead yet. 4 losses is nothing. 4 losses can easily only be 2 losses behind by Sunday Night. Detroit still play Cleveland and Kansas City several times in addition to a series with the Giants. In addition to that they have 2 more series with Minnesota who they're 6-6 against.

For the 100th time, the Yankees pitching isn't anything special but on most nights they do enough to keep us in games. Hitting has been the issue all year long. The Yankees are 22th in runs scored and 2nd to last in the AL in runs scored in front of Boston. That is all you need to know about this season.

You keep bringing up their pitching when reality is their lack of hitting is the reason they're struggling and this is pretty obvious to all yankees fans. I lost track of the # of games where this offense failed to produce 4 runs or more. There's been far too many games where they scored 3 runs or fewer

65 out of 136 almost half have been 3 or less to compare the tigers AL leaders in runs is 54 and oakland its 59 Its more about when u score not how many:suds:

RISP/"clutch" hitting isn't really a repeatable skill. Just ask the 2013 and 2014 Cardinals.

They should start wheeling in an ambulance for every O's game. For the other team.....

At what point do we just go ahead and say the O's are the favorite to win the World Series?

Weren't we hearing this about the A's a month or two ago? Red Sox and Phillies in 2011? And so on.

Playoffs are a different story. You won't be playing teams like the twins or reds in the playoffs

To be fair, they were playing pretty good baseball against a bunch of contending teams somewhat recently (OAK, SEA, LAA, STL, etc.).

Uehara's ERA was 1.27 after August 15. It's now at 2.49... after about 5 innings pitched.

Though to be fair, Holliday deserved it solely because of the uniform he's wearing.

Back in the 70s was when the O's would just kick ass.

I didn't make it public to you guys but after the Yankees did not sweep the Royals, I officially waived the white flag on the season

The flag of reality was waved about 4 months ago.
