I really don't understand this. With all the drama surround Aldridge and the Spurs this off-season this is the most surprising thing that's happened in the NBA this year, imo. Did not see this coming at all.

Still could get traded though. 24M per year contract may look attractive to some teams.

Well I know he met with Pop to discuss his role. I guess that talk went great. Expect to see a new LA this year IMO.
