Everyone is shitting on the Adidas deal on social media because it's Adidas, who the fuck cares? It's $119m over 10 years and the only change will be a small Adidas logo on the jersey instead of a Nike logo.

I massively prefer Nike products, and if all things were equal would prefer $119m from Nike, but they clearly weren't willing to shell out that much money. Hell, Oregon only got like $88m or something from them.

I believe that $119m doesn't even take into consideration the $1m per year on advertising. If you include that, it's $129m.

Easy ROI for them. I know quite a few that will buy all new gear just to purge their Nike crap. First year will be a windfall. Then after the second year all of their shitty gear falls apart and you have to buy it all again.

LOL at them offering specifically the same exact number they gifted the Ducks last year because Nike U. fanbase wouldnt be able to handle the butthurt of the Huskies being compensated more than them. Even with the Ducks being utterly mediocre lately.

Telling that our AD brought up the "support" angle when mentioning why they also choose the deal. That Nike has been purposely providing them the bare minimum involvement. We'll that shits over. They can put their full energies into supporting the Ducks and their 7 win or less seasons for years to come.

Was kind of hoping to score some dirt cheap soon to be on its way out Nike gear today at the fan fest/scrimmage. I love a good deal, even if it means having the stupid swoosh in the corner. Still not at blow out prices. Check TJ Maxx over the summer.
