UM picks up a very nice get in Ja'Quan Newton. This is another top 100 recruit that Miami has picked up. A few months back they were talking a Newton/Whitehead package deal.

If Miami gets Whitehead too.....look out ACC.

Depends where they set up court. Even if they leave the court where it's at, this game will break another record. Duke and SU both will be ranked....SU will probably be ranked lower than Duke which will bring all the nuts out.

Man....In the ACC, only UNC holds more then 21K. It's going to be the loud house you guys. Still those small courts like Cameron where the students are right on the sidelines are very special.

Makes me wish I still lived in the Atlanta area so I could go to some home games. GT basketball games in the 90's were the best! I'd love to see Cuse on our home court.

Dude....I'm still flinching by that 56 - 0 curb stomping your boys put on SU a couple weeks back. I don't know if SU and GT square off in bball this year, but that's one game I'm waiting on.

I hate all of these teams coming to the ACC. Those traditional rivalries are gone in other conferences.

You have to think the dome with 25K to 30K will be a bit noisey. 21K are season ticket holders. Teams like Duke and UNC will get 30K too easy.

I hear Cameron is downright intimidating. Seen it on TV and it sure looks that way.

22 Feb, 6:00pm.....it's on. SU will get to see it firsthand.

This is going to be a bad ass year for SU Basketball. No matter the record...Going to be a lot of good teams on the schedule. Duke twice, UNC once, MD, Wake, ND @ Miami, @FSU....lot's of flying. OCC Is Indiana, and SJU, the Maui Inv that has the Zags, Minn, and Arkansas.

Snf I'm going to drink a lot. It doesn't get any better than that.

Sure that many people can get loud. But put a ton of people, that are all actually into the game, in a smaller space and the it's going to seem louder and more intimidating, IMO.

Yeah, we'll see. It's certainly nothing against Syracuse, I just think that smaller gymnasiums with bleachers right at the court would seem louder than in a larger gym with more people.

My thinking is that when you're listening to other people they're going to seem louder in a smaller space. It's easier to hear what two people are saying if you're in a small room than if there were five people having a conversation and you're just in the same house.

I agree. I miss Carmichael Auditorium. I also miss Reynolds Coliseum. That place was really loud and intimidating. The PNC Arena? Not so much although State moved a lot of kids nearer the floor.
