He said that if we were to somehow win the championship this year, we would not only win the World Series but also our season would probably be made into a motivational sports movie, akin to Miracle, in about 10 years. I just need to think of the actors to portray some of our big players/coaches:

Jimmy Rollins: Jamie Foxx
Ben Revere: Terrence Howard
Chase Utley: Matt Damon
Domonic Brown: Cuba Gooding Jr.
Cole Hamels: Edward Norton
Jonathan Papelbon: Jake Gyllenhall
Ryne Sandberg: Kevin Spacey
Juan Samuel: Laurence Fishburn (he needs to lose a little weight for this role)

This is just a rough draft of the movie. We still need about 30 more actors, a budget exceeding 500 million dollars for all of these A-list actors, a director, a stadium to film, and the Phillies to win the 2014 World Series. Looking at a 2026 release in IMAX.

If the Phillies win the series next year Amaro will obviously get a 20 year contract so he'll be too busy to play himself. If Panthers coach Ron Rivera is not working at the time he can play Rube.
