The season opens Feb 15th and the preseason polls are out.

Face it, it's popularity has grown leaps and bounds over the last 10-15 years and is still on the rise.

It intensifies mid May going into the conference championships, followed by the 64 team NCAA tournament, and into the 8 team (10 day) College World Series mid/late June to determine the national champion.

They built TD Ameritrade Park just for the CWS series and a multitude of universities have dumped big bucks into upgrading or building brand new stadiums to keep up with what has become a revenue generating sport for them.

The forum can be placed in with the college football and basketball forums.

i follow CBB more than most and would say no matter how popular you think it is, it still doesnt warrant it's own forum. no one really uses the college basketball one as it is now.

SportsHoopla rates good on google for sports message boards. If a few lurkers can be attracted during the season, conference championships, tournament, or CWS, they might like what they see on the rest of SportsHoopla and become new members.

I think we should do it. It can't be any worse than the Tennis Forum that has 2 posts in last 6 months. I think we had almost 600 posts in thread about just the College World Series last year.

We need a College Baseball Forum so I can brag about UVa's Kenny Towns who hit 2 Grand Slams today vs ECU in just his 51st and 54th career ABs. They were the first 2 home runs of his career.

Wrong....Unfortunately the result of the search was keyed by this very thread requesting a College Baseball Forum. LMFAO !!!
To come here not only will you find no college baseball forum, you will also find that the request has been ignored and the request was even bashed by a fellow poster.
