Well, it is evident head to head means nothing. Every time they put TCU in the top 4 they prove it.

Head to head means nothing so whoever wins the playoff really isn't the champion because head to head you know can be trumped by how bad that 1 loss you have.

Sounds like someone I can agree with. It is disgracefull a team can choke with a 21 point lead in the 4th to a team who will be the conference champion, yet TCU will get the nod. This is a joke.

I been saying all along when it is all said and done people will beg for the computers to be selecting the final 4.

It's not over. I am a bit surprised at the TCU to #3. I completely understand TCU over Baylor as of today. Yes, head to head, but it was a tight and controversial ending. Biggest difference is KSU v Iowa State. TCU has an additional top 10 win and Baylor has Iowa State. This weekend Baylor has a chance to even that up. Don't be shocked if Baylor has a good showing and they jump TCU

The committee is essentially telling us that beating a mediocre Minnesota team is more important than beating someone head-to-head

Only if they finally make their algorithms public for scrutiny, the biggest complaint was bias in some of them.

Fair enough. My thing is what forced the big push to get rid of the BCS was the 2011 rematch. The thing is, the computers didn't want the rematch, it was the 2/3 human element. So while that may not be the only situation people like to blame on the BCS, it wasn't the computers that year.

I like the computers. One issue the BCS had was they continually deemphasized computers

It's a really good thing we've improved the system and gotten rid of the huma...oh wait.

It has never meant anything. In 1978 the AP gave their NC to Alabama even though USC won it on the field.

You guys are confusing what is fair with who the better team is. Almost everyone thinks TCU is the better team and that includes the committee. If you look at conventional playoffs in pro sports, TCU does not deserve to go. But in college sports, it's not about an objective method such as head to head tiebreakers. You can look at it as not fair, but unfortunately, life is not fair.
