Jimmy's and Joe's are one thing, but you should at least be able to be in position to not get blown out like that at Nebraska

I believe so as well.

Which is quite a good indication that no matter how long we give this staff, we are never going to get back to playing competitive football.

I don't see why people don't want to fire Riley after going 4-8 this season, but are okay with firing him after going 5-7 next season......or the season after that.

Why wait at this point?

I do remember when he transfered from Stanford to Husker land back in 96

he did have to adjust from that Walsh style O to the Husker way of life -- I was at that game when this happened

Stayed for the whole thing. Went to what was left of the student section with my buddy. Saw a dude with a sign that said, "you can't spell J.T. Barrett without DUI".

Still had good times. The band, unlike the team, showed up to play and that sounded groovy.

Recruit all you want with Riley, but he won't get it done on the field. I've said many times I watched Riley's teams at OSU on the TV as I am usually up until the wee hours - anyway he ain't the guy to get the job done.

Lee Barfknecht says an AD is close to being hired. Hank Bounds needs to take the reign and get going, even local TV sports are talking about it now. The pressure to fire Riley will hit fever pitch this week as there is little else for the papers to write about with the bye week.

I should clarify, I definitely want him gone by the end of the season. I just meant for the recruiting class that he's bringing in this year.
