Who gives a squat? Where is Mac? Where is Parker? I understand Slater is hurt, so OK. But this is ridiculous that Gorkys is getting PT over McParker.

Agreed but isn't this so predictable by now? Bochy isn't interested in what he's got for 2018. He just wants to play his veterans.

Not that concerned about the Reds and Mets. They are back far enough that I doubt they catch us. It is, however, very possible we end up with the 4th pick next year. I do wonder if some site shows the aggregate WAR of the 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th pick, over the entire history of the MLB draft, to see which is the best spot to pick in, historically.

So many emotions. And one night after the Giants lost to the Dodgers, saw them clinch the NL West title (again!) and could get no distance with the rest of the pact.

Well, I guess to Bochy, Gorkys is a "young" player. But those who use measures like age and number of years in the big leagues, he is definitely a veteran.
