yeah its a nutty run theyre on.In the last 17 games
The Indians have picked up 15.5 games in the standings on the Dodgers for best record in baseball
That's just sick
Crazy what is going on in LA. They were over 90 wins in what, mid August? Now it's looking they might not make it to 100
It would be tough for the worst teams in baseball to pull off what they have
is that the guy from highway to heaven?
Kluber vs awful Tigers tonight
No end in sight

It's coming down to the last weekend, I agree. Really a shame they aren't playing each other at all these last few weeks.Posted this on the AL East thread last night. Thoughts?
With this yanks win, they'll be 3 out with 19 to go for both teams. Here is the remaining schedule for Boston and New York.
Boston- 3 VS OAK, 3 AT TAMPA, 3 AT BAL, 3 AT CINCY, 3 VS TOR, and 4 VS HOU
NYY- 2 "AT" TAMPA, 4 VS BAL, 3 VS MIN, 3 AT TOR, 1 vs KC, 3 VS TAMPA, and 3 VS BAL
Yanks schedule is a little more favorable especially with this Rays series moving to NYC. My guess is Boston hold on but what I will say is I think the division will still be up for grabs entering the final weekend of the year.

By my math, the odds of coming out of those 6 games without a loss is about 12.1%FiveThirtyEight.com provides their odds for each MLB game. Tonight, they give the Indians a 77% chance of winning, which is the highest number I've seen all year (their may have been higher, but I didn't see it.
Doesn't get much better tomorrow either - 71% chance of winning.
Then they've got four against the Royals:
Game 1 - 64%
Game 2 - 67%
Game 3 - 69%
Game 4 - 75%
Then a six-game west coast swing vs LAA & SEA, where their average odds are 58% and the lowest are the first two vs LAA at 54%
Then it's back up to the high-sixties and seventies for the last six against MIN & CHW.
