I caught about 5 minutes of it yesterday. Man does Fry look and sound old. But he's such a stud, basically demanded Iowa build an indoor practice facility or he threatened to accept offers at other big schools. We have Hayden to thank for SO much at Iowa and, really, so many other schools benefited from him too with his coaching tree.

OK, watched the whole thing last night. Brought back some great memories of that team and that season. I remember cutting out each headline from the Des Moines Tribune's "The Big Peach" newspaper that season and saving them (probably still have them somewhere). It shed a little light on our defense that season and that Station was playing injured in the Rose Bowl, which helps to explain Eric Ball having the game of his life. They didn't dwell too much on Harmon's 4 fumbles.

I watched it too. Brought back bad memories of that Rose Bowl and being sooo fuckin hungover with my mom's house in W'loo trashed from the party my brother and I had the night before. Just once I'd like to witness a Hawkeye win in the RB.
