Why can't Kapler line up Wade in left, Flores at 1st and Pederson at DH? Is that really a worse defensive alignment than what he continues to trot out?

phuking disaster first inning by the "hitters." Weak ass contact by LWJ and Tyro, followed by a called strike three RIGHT DOWN THE MIDDLE to Flores.

Add in the solo shot given up top first and it already looks bleak.

The ‘16 team was actually good, though. That drop felt wrong. This team is crap. The drop feels more appropriate.

Yes, the 2016 team was good and the drop was inexplicable. This team seemed to be playing over their heads for a couple of months but the slide still feels wrong. Maybe just because it is no fun.
