After Longo came back to the dugout, there were serious discussions going on. Will we see the Giants plunk someone? The Giants know better than any org how wild Crick can be.

How much would it cost for a dog from a shelter, about?

Greatly depends (age of dog, type, health etc.), but I wouldn't expect to pay more than $500 and that will include everything (medicals etc.). I'm pretty sure all shelter dogs are neutered/spayed and you rarely pay for it (that can cost $400-500 itself from a breeder's dog).

If you're really lucky, you can sometimes (edit: usually) find dogs that are already trained, at least with the basics (house/leashed trained) and you don't need to pay for that on your own time.

I guess I'm okay with Jordan Luplow having a good game, seeing as he's from Fresno St and all. But I don't want another 4 run Pirate half inning.

Bell almost made this a 1 run game.

Notice how the former Giant pitching well with the Pirates gets touched up tonight, only to have the former Pirate pitching well with the Giants come in next half inning and have the same thing happen?

I guess both Hundley and d'Arnaud are both doing better now, since they are both in the game.

I wonder who was the last Giant to homer and then walk 4 times in a game?

So much potential that inning, so little to show for it. Hope our guy nails it down in the 9th.

$500 to adopt? Sheesh, I was expecting closer to $100

More like 3 disapproved games: 3 different shitty innings for 3 different Giants

After this win, the Giants are now 6 games back of the D-Backs/Dodgers for the division and 7 games back for both the 1st and 2nd Wild Card, with 5 teams between the 2nd spot and the Giants.

FYWW? I think these guys are warn down after filling in in too many 3-4-5 inning starts. Why do you think Noggin brought Holly out for the 7th after pitching a quality 6?

Yup. I got a private back yard and a hedged in front yard. Just screaming for a dog.
Some breeds might not be covered by your ins co.

If there's a dog park near you, make use of it. Socialization is important.

If pure breds are an option for you check out the Vizsla. Very short red hair and great disposition. And French Bulldogs. I'm partial to GSDs but they aren't for everyone as they shed and can be very protective, but they are SMART.

French BDs have been recommended. But the short snout leads to health issues later in life. Certainly a possibility, though.

Germans are great (my bro had one when I was a kid), but the shedding is a bit much. And while I do NOT want a toy, I do want an inside dog that I won’t mind too much jumping on the furnature. Germans are too big for that. A Jack or a smaller lab would be perfect.
