it would have basically been the same catch..

jest not the same situation

I actually thought he was going to cartch that one this weekend.

That one last year I didn't think he even had a 1 out of 30 chance.

Been out lately, but wanted to comment. Saw the last 2 minutes on B1G replay late this afternoon. Game over if MSU DB or Safety haul in that INT in end zone on play before game winning TD.

Reilly was not pushed out from what I saw. Pretty much had no where to go and was routed out? Doesn't matter, Huskers finally get call in favor. get over it Plaxico.

Lastly, when I saw that crappy kick off all I could think was the TX champ game replay, giving up field position and FG loses game.

All ended well though, first time this year. Win in NJ and then beat Iowa which they can, and it is bottom of bowl league game. Detriot is awesome end of December

Brasky is in conversation time out...I can't even start one with him. I've tried to talk to the admins about it and haven't gotten anywhere.

A tid bit.

That one last year would have been Sportscenter Top 10 though if he reeled that in.

His other arm was being grabbed and pulled. Clear PI, but no call.

Because I live under a nazi regime on this site which wants to silence me as much as possible without pissing too many people off.

Oh yea I know. I remember when the play happened in realtime.

Dude, I can't even imagine being a referee though. You're assigned to run around and stare at specific parts of the game. You don't even really know what's happening with the game as a whole, you're just sitting there focusing on specific things. And then suddenly something like this happens real quick in the heat of the moment and you've been staring at these certain aspects while the rest of us are just enjoying a football game. Seeing that repetitive shit over and over again, it's gotta wear on you.

It's easy for us to see penalties and what have you because we have the luxury of replay and we're not sitting there blowing our brains out for 3 hours staring at a white line making sure nobody steps over it. I don't think 99.9% of referees are out to get anyone, I just think the mental toll that takes place forces errors.

I truly 100% believe that almost every referee out there wants to do the best they can.

They just don't always do it, because we're human. We make mistakes.

Absolutely. Is the system broken? I don't know. I just know it will never be perfect.

Don't know. There will always be holes.

The way to beat it is to be really good. The '95 Huskers never had to worry about a bad call.
