That lineup is 9 batters deep.

Odds bum goes yard? I would stake a LOT of money on 3-1 odds. Not sure Vegas would take it, though.

Vegas odds would have to be a lot more than that. 7-1 at least.

They'd be 3-1 for Mike Judge.

So because baseball is weird you guys realize that after 4 straight terrific starts from our shitty starters, our ace will now give up 5 runs in 4 innings

but we'll still win

Check out Matt Scherzer's line tonight (he's still pitching, 7.2 IP, 4 H, 12 K, 0 BB). Dude is the best in the game right now (yes better than Kershaw, especially factoring in injuries)

Edit: literally as I was typing this he gives up 2 runs LOL
But I stand by it

You realize Bum has yet to give up a run this year, right?

His career is quite amazing. He's gotten better every year into his 30s. So fun to watch. I remember really wanting him to sign here when he was a free agent, but still being kinda skeptical. Boy I wish we got him

He did this today too:

Max Scherzer just tossed an immaculate inning against the Rays. Nine pitches, nine strikes, three whiffs. He's the second hurler to throw an immaculate inning this season. Baltimore's Kevin Gausman was the other. Through six frames, Scherzer's faced 19 hitters and thrown a grand total of 12 balls. Suffice it to say, he's locked in.

He's had 2 of those, only 4 other pitchers ever have. The other four are all Hall of Famers: Lefty Grove, Sandy Koufax, Nolan Ryan, and Randy Johnson.

He's gone to the splits almost every time and I don't know how he hasn't blown a hammy yet

I just want to know how he gets back up.
