Game Thread: 6.11 Happy Bum Day

With this rotation (and with Bum throwing like a bum), that is always a fear, but it is just a few runs. The pen isn’t perfect, and we can’t expect it to be perfect. They will falter from time to time.

The starters need to begin to pick up more of the slack and help out the bullpen. Bumgarner should have been able to give more than 5.1 IP tonight, even though it was only his 2nd start coming back. Bullpen can only give so much before finally getting chewed up.

Bum is still in Spring Training. 3 brilliant innings and then he got hit hard. He'll be fine. I'd expect 5 solid innings in LA, then the Bum we all know and love on the homestand.
