Coleman was traded, that is interesting. Not sure he would have made it here. So we got: Gillmore, MB, Rowe, Moore, J.Jones, Likely. Does Likely become that ST kid who handles the punts while Moore and Jones fight for that nickel spot?? If Likely stays, then who goes?? I still cannot see Bolden making this teams with the Injuries to JE and Jones.

We got a draft pick from Seattle because they knew he was going to be released.
Seattle is like #28? in the waiver order. Little chance he would not be picked up by then.
He knows Seattle's system and is ready to go for them.....

We’re going to be tracking all of the Patriots’ roster cuts right here, as they trim their roster down to 53 players ahead of Saturday’s deadline.

The list of cuts from the Patriots include:

• FB Glenn Gronkowski (Adam Schefter)
• TE Sam Cotton (Mike Reiss)
• G Jason King (Jeff Howe)
• LB Michael Bart (Doug Kyed)
• S Jason Thompson (Jeff Howe)
• LB Jon Freeny (Ben Volin)
• DE Lawrence Thomas (Rich Cimini)

Gronkowski, 23, wound up signing on with the Bills as an undrafted free agent out of Kansas State back in May of last year. He managed to make the 53-man roster coming out of the preseason but was waived just a few weeks later.

The Patriots later signed him to their practice squad and he was on and off of the unit for most of the season. Gronkowski returned to the Patriots back in February.

During his three-year college career, Gronkowski totaled 51 rushing yards on 16 carries (3.2 YPC) to go along with 15 receptions for 369 yards receiving and six total touchdowns.

Here it is 7:00 PM and not one official roster has been released.

I can understand if some teams have hung up a trade, but all of the NFL teams should cut to 53 by now.

No other professional sport plays games like this on cut down day. It's like the rosters are some big freaking secret that will cause the earth to fly off out of orbit.

Here it is 7:00 PM and not one official roster has been released.

I can understand if some teams have hung up a trade, but all of the NFL teams should cut to 53 by now.

I'm guessing doing one big cut from 90 to 53 was more difficult than the league thought. Teams are making a lot of trades during it.

I just went out to the grocery store to pick up a few things and of course I was glued to the radio. From what I could understand, the NFL is not forcing teams who are in the process of making trades to actually cut their rosters until midnight. So let's say that the Patriots are trying to wrangle their roster and the Cowboys are doing the same, they say that they're in the process of making a deal even though they aren't so that they can investigate what other teams are doing and they can hopefully make a deal with another team.

Right now, everyone is in the "process" of making a trade or two or three and are just trying to find willing partners who just might have piece of the puzzle that a team needs.

I'll be long asleep by midnight and will have to catch up with all of the goings on in the morning. Matter of fact, I think I'll go belly inject my nightly dose of insulin and hit the hay. Have a restful and safe evening.
