lol he’s close to leading the team in RBI’s in 7 GP’d. Both impressive and sad. I’ll choose optimism though and go with just impressive.

:heh:
Had the good sense to come up to the bigs right before they played Colorado a bunch. The Rockies are terrible

We needed a wake up call from the rookies and that is exactly what’s happening. Everyone is producing, we can thank the rookies.

My thoughts:

1. Harry and Walker were mediocre
2. Rest of bullpen: 3 IP; 3 H; 1 BB; 4 K zero ER
3. Hitters 14-38 (.368); 5 BB; 7 K
4. Yaz is the only hitter struggling.
5. RISP 9-19 (.474)

Chance to sweep tomorrow with NewAce.

In PIT, I'd think they go with Webb Tues because of off days before and after the Rox series. Wed would be Snells normal day, and I'd guess Winn on Thurs. Or they could flip Winn and Snell. Winn's last game pitched was 5.14 so he should be good to pitch either day. I wonder how much longer they stick with Winn given that a) Black isn't ready and b) Cobb's career is probably over. At AAA, Seymour is meh, Whiz isn't ready, Howard is meh, Black isn't ready, Roupp looks hurt.

So I guess we are stuck with Winn (or Hjelle).

And the shitty opponent. We look very different vs the Rockies than the Dodgers and that’s not unexpected

True, but every Giant has played the Rockies the same amount of games.

Dude, Winn is on the IL. He won't pitch, if healthy, until 5.29 at the earliest.

I would not be opposed to see what Hjelle can do. He has a history as a starter, but who knows if he still has the ability at this point (stamina wise)

I’m going to be more optimistic. We needed this from the rookies, and from this point on we will continue this, challenging for wild card through the season. Dodgers will see a different team next time. And you can take that to the bank.

What will the bank do with it?

Going for four in a row today. No need to worry about Melvin throwing out a “Sunday getaway Day” lineup because at this point with all the injuries every day is a Sunday Getaway Day lineup for the Giants

Huh, I missed this. 5.30 per ESPN. Ok, I guess it'll be:
