Melancon was activated before the game. Any word on the corresponding move?

You know it us a stinker of a game when Jon and Flem have abandoned even calling balls and strikes.

They are just chitchatting about local resteraunts. They are completely ignoring the game.

It is good to see a doggie struggle, but it is tough to see it be Romo. I forgave him his childhood love of the Blue, and gave him my blessing to go there.

Secret Agent Romo.

Who would have thought that JC would be the one to break the QS streak? His 2.79 era last year is a dams sight better than 4.50 this year.

This year's Cueto is what I was afraid of when they signed him last year. I had hoped he would make the opt out easy for him to take. The problem is, he's not.

I think I am done with Morse. Time to move on...

(I'm not targeting you in this case, I'm talking about dumb Giants' fans I see on Twitter because your reasons against Belt are reasonable while on Twitter they are utterly ridiculous. I'm quoting you though since you brought it up)

I hope games like this show fans how even if Belt isn't doing much with the bat that he's still a valuable part of this team. While Morse didn't cost us the game, he proved why he is pretty much rendered useless when Gonor returns and why he hasn't been in MLB for awhile. Belt makes both of those plays (and the 3rd play that Morse almost botched) that Morse screwed up, and frankly Morse isn't bringing much of anything with the bat. Pinch-hitting is freaking hard, you can't expect a homerun every time up, which I think people do with Morse. On a team like this though, where everyone has to be pulling their weight, we can't have wasted roster spots on one-trick ponies like Morse.

I acknowledge Belt is a solid starting 1B and is an asset. I just don't think he is good enough to lock yourself into...

But I see Morse as a waste, Gonor as a waste and Hill as a waste.

Dump all three and call up Jones, Shaw, Slater, or Heathcott.

I like Morse and Gonor. But neither are good players.

Again, not including you because I understand your position on his value (I think). Giants fans on twitter want Brett fucking Pill back.

But yeah I hope this week has reminded all of them what Belt brings.

I'm dreading the day Aaron Hill is ready. I really don't think there is any valid reason of keeping him around. I pray that he's just released.

Unfortunately, Gonor is here to stay me-thinks.

I don't think it's wise to call up young players like that and have them ride the bench.

Who said ride the bench? I can see this group being a pretty regular 4 or 5 man OF rotation.
