Feel like this series can go either way in terms of length. Can be a quick 5 game series of a 7 game series. Hawks are so hit or miss

I feel like from top to bottom the Hawks are a better overall team, but Wall can win this series by himself though.

I am going with a HAWKS upset in 6 games.

There has to be one, and this seems like a series where the perception is unbalanced.

neither team is much of a real contender regardless.

We're playing pretty well at the moment, so I think we pull off the upset.

I think this series will be close, but Wall is the best player and the Wiz take it.

I'm sorry...

I can't take a Team seriously that pays Bazemore 20 mil a year to come off the bench.

* Mentally prepares for Doc to trade for him this Summer *

Wall is gonna wreck Schroeder.

The Wizards should win and win fairly easily. But since this is a Washington sports team, its entirely possible they go down in flames in the first round

I'm so pissed at ownership for firing Ferry over such a silly ''issue''.
At the time he left The Hawks were in about the same position as Boston with draft picks and ahead of them in roster talent and contract flexibility.
Budenholzer has fucked up everything. He let players; contracts run out with great trade value, getting nothing in return. Where Ferry had amazing success in bringing in the talent, Bud has been dumb as a sack of dicks in signing Howard, who is completely wrong for the offense he runs. Then he brought in half assed bench sitters.
He has also most unforgivably completely squandered the great cache of draft picks with virtually nothing of value for them.
Ownership fucked the franchise out of a golden opportunity. This team and franchise is doomed to mediocrity for a long time to come.

It is a pretty big reach comparing the Hawks to the Celtics. The rosters may have been comparable, but the Hawks did not have any top of the lottery picks they could use to either bolster the roster or as trade assets. Picks in the late teens just are not worth that much.

Maybe Bud is in over his head, but it isn't his fault. They overachieved the year they won 60 games and have been chasing lightning in a bottle ever since. Had they traded Horford and Teague, they would have given away their last, best chance to make a playoff run. While they are both quality players, they would not have returned as much as you think in the last year of their contracts anyway.
