I love being proved wrong about a player. While I was one of the last to get OFF the Stratton wagon when he was in the minors, I just didn’t see him as a starter once I saw him pitch. I was certain he was destined for the bully.

But dayum, is this dude rocking it. He looks to be a rather consistant 7 inning pitcher, and that is a #3+ starter.

Strat and JC are the only starters averaging 6+ innings per start, and between them have six of the nine QS for the season.
