With his performance, Russell Wilson gave Seattle their 5th consecutive season with a 3000 yard passer. This is the first time in Seahawks history this has happened, passing the four consecutive seasons the Seahawks got out of Matt Hasselbeck from 2002-2005. Also, having 3000 yards in consecutive seasons ties Wilson for the 3rd longest streak in team history with Dave Kreig and Matt Hasselbeck. Seattle has had a 3000 yard passer in only 19 seasons of their 38 year history (Hasselbeck, 7; Kreig, 4; Zorn, 3; Wilson, 2; Moon, 1; Kitna, 1; Jackson, 1).

2013 - Wilson 3077 (2 games left)
2012 - Wilson 3118
2011 - Jackson 3091
2010 - Hasselbeck 3001
2009 - Hasselbeck 3029

That he's doing it in a run-heavy offense tells you that he takes advantage of his opportunities and that we have some receivers that can go up and get it on deep throws and make people miss for big gains on shorter throws. Hasselbeck should have gone over 3,000 yards every year even with Alexander on the team because of the sheer volume of passes he threw. That's not to take anything away from Hasselbeck, he did well in the offense he was in, but Wilson's first two years have been very impressive given the offense he's being asked to run.

What makes RWill's success so amazing is that we expected to Harvin = Wrong. We lost Sidney Rice which was a target.

We played w/out our starting OT's for most of the season.

Two of our 3 WR's were undrafted Free agents combined with Tate being a 2nd rdr.

Throw all of that into a crock pot and most teams would have to pull out the polish :
