There's no way Dude

Steph needs good-great players around him just as any other superstar. Lebron is actually accustomed to taking the load, especially early in his career and we saw him do it last year, although not very efficiently. Without Klay and Green, they can double Curry and take his shot-making ability away with a good strategy. That's the thing with Lebron, he doesn't have a great shot so doubling him is very difficult. It proves Lebron is still overall the better all-around player bc he can win without great players, but he can only do so much like any other player.

Also, I think everyone can agree that Curry right now has the better team around him. They can go 10 deep, unlike the Cavs

Klay at 7 feels like a bit of a reach. 2 way player though, I'm guessing that was a factor.

With the #2 pick I will take the best player in the league right now. Stephen Curry

Might have it confused with LBJ. He always needed a big 3.

I agree, I would have picked a handful a guys over him. I guess the only view we have of him is a #2 guy, but realistically he is a #1 guy for a good amount of teams.

He wouldn't have even been my #1 SG picked, that would have been Jimmy Butler. Klay is still a good player though, plus nobody can shut him and his team down.

I guess you don't remember Lebron vs. Detroit in 2007 :L :L

I was at least happy to see that there has been 8 picks made, so it's not just all talking about the draft.

I moved a couple posts from the original thread in here so that's why you'll see a couple random posts in this thread. Trying to remove the non-pick related comments in the thread that is stickied.

I think you had to go Curry 1.

Him and LeBron are about equal in impact to win now. But Curry also provides you a better team future being over 3 years younger.

LeBron vs. Curry debate?

Curry is the better player today, but if I were building a team from scratch, I would rather start with LeBron. He can play multiple positions and is the better defender. I think you have to get the right types of players around Curry, but LeBron gives more options for the drafter.

By the way, Klay and Green are definitely better all around players than Irving and Love. I am not sure how either would do as a #1 option, but as 2 and 3 they are absolutely brilliant.
