I missed out on it as well. I think I started on ESPN during the offseason prior to 08.

It's funny to think of but I've really been on SportsHoopla a lot longer than ESPN.

It definitely was, they didn't run that board well at all. Going robust was what really accelerated the downfall of that site.

And quick didn't. He ran out of bounds instead of fighting for yards.

Petrino screwed up in the end of the first half taking that dumb timeout with 1:20 left. Cost his team 7 points.

But the officials were just awful. 4 shamelessly blatant DPIs on Clemson that were ignored. All ended up costing Louisville hugely. Calls so easy they were like clothes-lining a driving offensive player on the basketball court.

Re-watching the game now to see what was everyone crying about refs after the game. Please help me find where these "blatant" DPIs or other bad calls are at. All I'm seeing now is a weak excuse.

I don't really care. My CFB team blows. I just hate with it's not decided by the players.

The INT was clear DPI. He just reaches out and trips the guy taking a big and allowing it to be a pick.

The play where Staples gets a personal foul for taking his helmet off, clearly dPI and a classic case of a team being punished for being right ripping the refs.

The one at the end of the half on 3rd down when the dude wraps his arms around the WR like they're going steady.

The 3rd down play in the EZ on the final drive, cheating us out of Lamar Jackson's heisman moment (breaking 2 tackles and throwing the GW TD).

Not really that hard.

Those are all CLEAR calls. Nothing 50-50 about them.

"Intentional or not, even the appearance of impropriety is detrimental to the game. The chain crew need to operate unbiasedly and professionally. I don't care who you "root" for, that stays off the field and out of the job."

It's over now but shit, the officiating has to be better than this. The whole point of replay to keep bad officiating from determining outcome of close games. Biased chain crews not biased up the spot.

I've never had another UL fan on a board before.

I had Brohm his entire career in my college fantasy football league so I was always hoping they'd do well.

He always let me down.

Although he was a pretty solid fantasy QB.

2006 remains my favorite season. Opened with the big win over UK, I was at PJ Stadium for the win over Miami, and continued to win despite losing Brohm & Bush for a couple games. The West Virginia game is probably one of the best wins in history of the program. In retrospect, that season epitomizes everything that was wrong with the BCS. 1-loss Louisville team end up playing Wake Forest in the Orange Bowl.
