What a difference a week or two makes. After our big win, and Georgia's big win last night I feel much more comfortable with where we are right now than I did last week. Not saying we're headed to the playoff or anything, but I certainly feel more optimistic about our team.

GO IRISH!

It was a good road win against a better team than BC or at least I think they are better than BC but honestly Michigan State have only played three games and the first real team they played beat the crap out of them so who knows how good they really are. I am happy with how the offense played Wimbush looked much better throwing the ball hopefully as the season goes on he gets better and better. The defense may not be great but short of a couple big runs they really limited Michigan State in the run game at least when it mattered. I was happy to how aggressive the defense played creating turnovers and swarming to the football even if they aren't a great defense they are a defense that is average or slightly above average which is a huge difference.

One question. Who is Deon McIntosh. How did I miss him.

They actually looked like a good team last night. it was fun to watch. Best part I was watching the game with Plaxico Burress. He was not happy about how MSU played.

Well isn't that too bad, Burress will have to wait 9 years to see his team have a shot at the Irish again.

I believe he was recruited with Jones Jr as a change of pace type player but I could be wrong he probably only saw time because Jones Jr is hurt with an ankle injury.

Plaxico Burress? MSU, like their former WR, kept "shooting themselves in the foot" last night with all of those turnovers.

Sorry... I couldn't help myself.

I think he got himself in the leg and then went to jail for it. I think I would argue two of the turnovers were due to the play of Notre Dame's defenders particularly Crawford's so not so much shooting themselves in the foot and more so Notre Dame just being a bully and taking their lunch money.

Love the performance. OL was great, the showed up vs a good DL. Wim was much better on his throws. I thought the middle of the field was open all game and they should have used it more.

What was up with Adams, he get hurt or just rest? Williams too....I think he needs more carries...LOL

Adams injured his ankle so they kept him out it doesn't sound serious but they probably figured wit the game out of reach no reason further injuring him and Williams I'm guessing was also kept out because of the score of the game.
