i agree with the bullpen part and only use him if we are 10 to 15 runs down or 20 runs up

To continue the discussion from the other thread, I think next year we need to start with Hamels as our ace, Griffin ( we still control him right?), pick up Perez's option, and resign Cashner. That right there already gives us 4. We might need to bring in one or two free agents with some upside and maybe a guy or two from the farm could compete for a job. I haven't completely given up on chi chi yet either, but lu jax was probably the worst starter I've seen from our system in some time.

Side note: I just saw Tepesch has been pitching for the blow jays. Did anyone know this? And we might have made a mistake with Dillon Gee. He's doing a good job with the Twinkies so far.
