From a quick look at the list, I’d say Randy Moss, Jimmy Johnson, Richard Seymour, John Lynch, Ray Lewis. Have to analyze more.

Jimmy stint with the Dolphins could hurt his chances, but that wasn’t really his fault. They had Huizenga as owner who poked his nose into everything.

Jimmy Johnson? Guy won two Super Bowls but so did Barry Switzer, and he didn’t do a whole lot as Dolphins coach. Not to mention he didn’t coach that long.

Yes I know Switzer only won one Super Bowl

Yes, but Jimmy is prototype of good HC. Much focus and winner attitude with the Cowboys. Not so much with the Dolphins, they did not let him work and spoiled Marino’s last chance. As mentioned, that would be a blemish. He didn’t coach longer because Miami burned him out as HC.

Yep, it’s hard to get in there. There are I think two HC on the list. Agree it is longshot for The other JJ to get in. Coryell had great team with Fouts, but the other guy has two rings.

Tony Dungy, a Super Bowl head coach, says that "If you talk about impact on the game, training other coaches -- John Madden, Bill Walsh, Joe Gibbs to name a few -- and influencing how things are done, Don Coryell is probably right up there with Paul Brown. He was a genius

That is why he has more of a case than Jimmy Johnson, but I don’t think Coryell should be in either.

I think he deserves it over Atwater, because he was a better player. But I think Atwater should be in there too, maybe next year

Both Dawkins and Atwater should be in. Quite frankly, I think it's ridiculous that neither of them are in already.
