Game Thread: #25 Virginia Tech @ Pitt - Thursday 7 PM EST - ESPN

One of the games I looked at on the calendar at the start of the season to be a very tough out for VT, much like they Syracuse game. Both true road games where we haven't fared that well at in the past, especially coming in as a higher ranked team.

I am hoping that VT can carry the momentum over from last week's win versus Miami into tonight and hopefully eek out a win. However, I'm expecting a coin flip type game.

Should be good watchin'...I'll go with Pitt based on Heinz Field, which hasn't been kind to the Hokies, but as you say, coin flip.

Pittsburgh has sort of surprised me.

It seems every Pittsburgh game is a shootout. Pitts has given up 39, 45, 37, 27, 34, and 31.

Virginia Tech plays bad on the road.

I will take Virginia tech and their defense to hold Pittsburgh to fewer points than the Pittsburgh defense holds Virginia Tech to.

I would not bet this game with real money. Much better games out there to put real money on.

VT's savior AD is a WVU man and we need VT to have a decent rep when we throttle them in DC next year so... might go VT tonight but.. I'll need to disinfect afterward because of all them sheep humper diseases they have.
