So far the Red Sox have been quietly busy.
Picked up Steve Pearce who's been excellent.
Picked up Nate Eovaldi whp pitched a near perfect 7 innings Sunday.
Picked up Ian Kinsler from the Angels last night and he's expected to start at 2B tonight.
Washington nationals announced last night that Bryce Harper is available. I'm sure he'll cost a small fortune. Sox don't have the farm to get him but might be able to move a couple of major leaguers and a couple of kids. Would you give up JBJ and Joe Kelley plus or something similar?
Boston media says that Dombroski8 has a deal cooking for a RP. I would think he's looking at someone to come in to game in the 6th or 7th and cool off a team that's starting to heat up.
