Any chance we can just start doing a rebuild now? This team either can't hit when they get good pitching or let up a huge amount of runs when the offense does actually show up. I think that the Buck and Dumpster Dan era needs to be a thing of the past.
may will be alot better . this team will hit . love to see sisco play reg santander is down after 42 days needs work in minors . maybe hays mullins or steward the minors only losing team is the keys man that d is terrible

Tillman pitched a shutout? 6-0. Nice win. Now, let's see if they can make winning a habit.

This trade needs to happen. O's can take a some salary relief like Logan Forsythe to keep the salary down. Dodgers have a great farm.
I wouldn't be opposed to dealing with them. I think that they're probably the team that'd overpay the most for him right now.

I will miss Manny. There is very little keeping him from jumping off this sinking ship.

Every player wants championships. He will give a contending team a top-shelf star.

Barring a miracle turn around, Manny won't be in Baltimore much longer -- except when visiting as an opposing player.

I just hope we get the most we can for him. I don't care if that means that we trade him tomorrow or two months from now.

You could make an argument for trading Machado ASAP:

That being said, this team actually has the worst run differential in the MLB right now... which means that they might be able to land the #1 pick without trading Machado early. That's actually good, because it means that the team could wait for better offers.

Gausman pitched a great game, so of course, the offense forgot to show up and gets him no decisioned and ultimately lose the game. I don't know whether I'm amused or disgusted by how they always seem to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory.

The Birds are in a virtual tie with Cinci for the worst team in baseball -- record-wise. The negative run differential gives the O's the title, in my book.

Looks like the hole can't go much deeper -- but probably will. At .235, the Mendoza line for losing percentage is getting close. :tsk:

I haven't really been watching much of the games this year. I've heard various people say that it doesn't even look like a lot of the players are putting forth much of an effort (like they're defeated before they even take the field). Is that true or is it a lack of talent or a bit of both?

It seems they have the talent and ability to win most games, but it is either:

1.) The starting pitching/defense giving up runs early and the offense not hitting.

2.) The offense is scoring and the BP/defense blows the lead.

3). The offense struggles and the starting pitching is doing great w/no run support.

Bottom line ... the team is a mess. They are inconsistent and can't seem to get it together. If they are doing it on purpose, that might explain it. Manny and

Adam Jones is batting .245. He is really pissing me off and showing no leadership. This may be his worst season as an Oriole.

Chris Davis is batting .171. Sending him to the Minors is an option. Either way, he sucks at the plate and is a liability.

Without Schoop, the line up is one of the weakest in the Majors. The team depends on Manny and role players with low batting averages to make up for inconsistent pitching, shitting hitting and bad defense.

Trumbo probably regrets coming off of the DL and wants to go back.

I agree with most of this.

Trade Manny now for the best you can get. Hopefully, 1 top level prospect.

Hope Jones, Brach, Britton, O'Day, Alverez, Trumbo, and Schoop come back and play well and trade all of them at the deadline.

Schoop should bring back some decent prospects since he is under contract next season.

I would hold onto Bundy, Givens, and probably Guasman for now.

They need prospects and need to get some via trades. Tank the year and get the first draft pick for next season. Start the rebuild now.
