You think he trusts Smith to open up the offense for him? I mean he failed the kid miserably this year.

I've seen his stock around 15th for RB's projected for the next draft? :noidea:

I don't think it's a slam dunk he comes out, but there's a lot that goes into making that decision.

I believe with a 3/4 returning o line and Petersen pressing for a better balance on offense things could get very interesting....On top of that, look at Myles stats for this year and look at Barkley's (PSU)...I think it was AG last week posted the comparison, it was incredible....

The one thing that could be a big reason to come back is Pettis leaving. It really should push that running game more next season.

I sure hope he returns, but I can't blame any kid for going and getting their pay day if the irons hot.

It's like you mentioned above, he's listed somewhere in the teens for scouts rankings, money wise he would be looking late 4th, or 5th round... Money wise if he came back and showed he can take the pounding for another year that will raise his stock.....

Just a little heads up:

Last night the coaching staff visited with 5* Palei Gaoteitc ILB from Vegas/Hawaii a SC commit, now he will visit UW in early February......

Might want to put a pin in this one, this would be a huge flip if they land this guy!

Dawgman is saying they've talked to all three UW QB commits and all of them say the Smith move was understandable, but wont change their commitments to UW. Hope soo.

Came in to post about the Taggart thing. I could see a number of Oregon recruits maybe re-opening their recruitment, could be good for the Dawgs. Oregon has the #7 ranked recruiting class in the country right now. For some of those Oregon guys, maybe a flip to UW will be a serious consideration.

Given that the one that has already reopened is from Seattle there's always a strong possibility, however most are from Florida and were coming over specifically because of relationships with Taggart.

Obviously just Oregon losing most of its class right now during the dec recruiting window with little time left to salvage a class is big enough news for the rest of the Pac12 North.

If anyone thought they were on a path back to being dangerous, well that path just turned south again. This should set them back at least another 2-3 years on whatever timetable their rebuilding was on before.

:suds:

Karma is really being a big fat bitch to those bastards and I love every second of it!

Yeah at this rate the Dawgs might beat the amount of coaches that were at UW during the Ducks famous win streak!

A couple of UCLA commits have now scheduled visit's to UW within the next couple of weeks:

Blaylock- Safety 4*

McClain DE 4*

Could be some big gets if they can flip them, or Chipper already pissed them off...

This one hurts. Togiai committed to ohio st tonight during the Urban visit when our coaches were still scheduled to visit him a few days from now. Fuck doesnt even start to convey what a massive letdown that is.

No kidding. We really need Greg Gaines to come back next year.
