The Rockets will probably beat Minnesota, but they are never winning a ring. Soft as Charmin.

.....and Kenny Smith is up for the head coaching job.

How is this possible with Jackson available?

I totally get Stackhouse.

Still young, relatable to the players and the older corporate regime, has actual coaching experience.

But, Smith?

With candidates like Fiz, Jackson, and Stackhouse, there is no way Smith should get the job.

@bksballer89 , @CitySushi , @LAD

You guys were right.

Warriors coach Steve Kerr disputed a report from TNT play-by-play announcer Kevin Harlan during Game 2 that said Kerr informed him Stephen Curry would be sidelined for an additional three weeks to rehab his Grade 2 MCL sprain in his left knee. “It was probably a miscommunication when we met before the game,” Kerr said. “We don’t have any timetable for this. I’m not exactly sure what that was about.”

Yeah, the NBA has no need for the Rooney rule.

So, It doesn't make any sense unless they are just extending a courtesy to give him some interviewing experience.

He has no ties to that Organization. So, maybe this is like when kids declare for the draft just to get feedback on what they need to improve on when they return to school.

TNT analyst Kenny Smith will interview for the New York Knicks’ head-coaching job on Friday, a source told ESPN’s Stephen A. Smith.

I think Kenny would be a great coach. He can break the game down so thoroughly that just about anyone can understand. I think he is also in tune with what the role of role players should be - thus he would know exactly how to play to each guy's strengths. I would like to see him get a shot.

Stackhouse or Jackson would be my choice as coach if I'm the Knicks.

Me too.

And I actually think he would be good for the Knicks.

Yes, if for nothing else he could help establish some culture there - get them on the right path to being competitive again.

They have been mired in dysfunction for so long that I think they need a legit, ESTABLISHED , Coach to combat that idiot of a Owner.

Kenny is not that.

If I'm a free agent, I would give the Knicks a second glance if Jackson or Fiz was there.

Kenny....not so much.

I think exactly the opposite.

No FAs are looking at them regardless. An established coach isn't changing that.

This may have already been stated, but the reason so many of these playoff series' have been unusually competitive, or have 'upset' written on them, is that outside of Houston, Golden State, and Toronto the teams all have pretty much the same record. Portland-NO is not a typical 3-6 matchup, nor is Philly-Miami.

All this talk about how great the 1st round would be in the west, we're likely going to have 3 teams facing elimination in game 4 lol.
