I’m gonna guess he doesn’t put on that Husker hat when the time comes.

Really hope I’m wrong though.

We'll see, gonna be a tough pull for sure, but what 5-star player isn't going to be? He is a close friend of Mo Barry and of the transfer from Ole Miss (if he chooses Nebraska) so that could play to our advantage.

I do like this staffs ability to coach a team up. I mean the mental mentality and change that had to happen in order for them to go 0-12 to 13-0 in two years is incredible. It will be amazing what our team can do with a little back bone. I think big time recruits will take notice especially after we beat Michigan.

I wish, But the truth is I woke up super congested today. Went out last night and put salt down with a buddy of mine. So cold meds and lack of sleep.

So Martinez got one series in this UA All-American game and scored a TD and hasn’t seen the field since?

I haven’t been hooked on it but I think he’s led 2 of the 3 td drives, not been off the chart but he hasn’t played in over a year either so

Anybody watch that high school all American game last night? I recorded it because I cannot stand a bunch of 18 year old kids pulling a hat out of a bag announcing their commitment or acting like they’re shit don’t stink when they haven’t even stepped foot on campus yet.

I did however fast forward to when Martinez was in. Obviously he’s far from a finished product and hasn’t even really played in a year. I like his speed and mobility but I have seen some things in his passing game and his mechanics that I hope Frost and company fine tune. A few of his throws even reminded me of another Martinez.

I did not watch it, but in his defense neither Gill, Taylor (Steve), Frazier, Frost, or Crouch had great mechanics. They were good leaders that played well, in a well coached, well developed system.

As long as the QB is 'mentally' competent , it's hard not to be successful as a QB when the other 10 players around you are doing their jobs.
