They play to the level of their competition, and it's frustrating as hell.

On a positive note, Gardy starting to hit for his boy Pasta....Also, Tyler Wade can really run the bases, great instincts and gets a great jump off the crack of the bat.....Good afternoon Dirt.....

Apparently. I think they've worked out some kind of deal to keep him DL'ed. He gets his $21M, and insurance pays the Yankees back something like 80% of that.

Sounds like fraud. Typical.

gray and happ the yankee 1-2 punch:suds:

According to Jon Heyman of Fancred, the Yankees "have J.A. Happ near the top of their realistic rotation trade options."

Heyman notes that the Yankees don't see Jacob deGrom or Noah Syndergaard as realistic. Happ has struggled mightily over his last two outings, with his season ERA rising to 4.44, but the peripherals are still pretty good -- including a 9.8 K/9 in 105 1/3 innings. The 35-year-old left-hander is in the final year of a three-year, $36 million deal.
