If I'm the Yankees, I say no. Relievers too volatile for that kind of return, especially a reliever who's never pitched outside the NL west.

And Hand is making a ton of money.

Tell ya this

With these off days, they should be skipping starts of Germain and Gray

They won't, but that wouldn't be smart

Chance Adams was flat dominant in Scranton last night

7 IP, 1 H, 0 R, 0 ER, 2 BB, 10 K

Hoping this is the start of him getting his shit together.

That would be nice

I'd love to avoid a Frazier/Andujar type trade that turns into a Sonny Gray mistake

This years version is Chris Archer, guy has sucked for a long time now, no one seems to notice

Results have been poor, but up until this year he still had excellent peripherals. This year though, the wheels are falling off-WHIP up dramatically, K/9 plummeting. Rays probably wouldn't trade him within the division anyway, but I don't think Cash would be interested even if they would.

a 100 ERA+ over 200+ innings doesn't suck

that being said he does give up too many home runs, especially for someone pitching in Tampa.

Hasn't had less than a 4era in 3 seasons and this one is just really awful

I know there's talent there, but not a difference maker worth a slew of prospects IMO

a 4 ERA in the AL doesn't suck though, and there's a lot of value in pitching 200+ innings. Might not be worth a lot in terms of prospects right now, but he doesn't suck.

Fair, but I think Tampa will treat him like an Ace on the trade market in terms of demand

This year he sucks. Only 9 starts, but only 3 quality. WHIP, hit and HR rate way up, K rate down.

Maybe he's hiding an injury, but he's been pretty bad.
