And he's worse from the right side, but he gets the start even though red hot Frazier, a natural righty, is on the bench.

Made zero sense.

Agreed, and this stubborness with Didi, keeping him in the lineup every day while he is obviously completely lost

Time for him to get a day or 2

Sweeny Murti reports: Jacoby Ellsbury has been injured once again, earlier today he fell in the shower....The injuries sustained include: two broken legs, fractured left clavicle, shattered patella, broken humerus and a fractured cranium....Return date looks to be mid 2020.....Cashman obviously upset when he heard he had survived.....

Doctors speculated he would have shattered his tailbone as well, but fortunately for him, he fell on his wallet.

I had a discussion with a few friends as his signing took place....I said, "how does he ever command $21M?" I think he was making like $9M before that.....One of the worst signings of Cashman's career......One good/great year and they thought he was going to hit 40 homers a year in the Bronx....

Cashman must have been listening to Down, who always insisted he was about to become Fred Lynn.

what i find funny is when he played as an everyday player for the red sox, he was a stud, who got himself a very healthy contract by the team he kicked the schitt out of. he becomes a yankee and a weetart of a coach plays a moron over him for LOYALTY! F N LOYALTY, not team first! a player who flat out sucks in the post season, yea the post season, what matters most!

i don't blame ells for nuttin! F the idiots who F'ed him!

520 games played in his 4 years as a Yankee. 384 games played in his last four years AS a Red Sox.
but the Yankees didn't play him enough.

nice to have a free agent hitting well to start his Boston career for a change. Currently at .344/.395/.644 with a 176 wRC+ and 12 home runs. That BA is coming down at some point though, he isn't sustaining a .413 BABIP.
