Miggy Cabrera has 6 years $183 million left

Holy Shit, Dude hit 16HR last season

I don't know what it's like to play baseball with two herniated disks, but I suspect it isn't much fun.

I do know ... what I don't know is what its like to be a great (or even good) ballplayer and have two herniated disks.

Just a suggestion for Detroit. How about signing relief pitcher Tyler Clippard on a one year deal? He probably isn't asking for that much. The guy isn't a star, just an experienced relief pitcher. He can't be any worse than the AAA collection you've got to choose from now. Ditto with Francisco Liriano. Sign to minor league contracts with low salaries if they make the team. It can't be any worse than Chad Bell or Dan Stumpf. (I can't take another year of Buck Farmer)

lol

Yep. Much like Ralph Houk in the 1970s. An aging manager taking over a team of aging veterans and no-name youngsters. Kept the seat warm for Sparky Anderson when the team was getting ready to win again.

Does Sparky have a son? I don't see any HOF manager heading Detroit's way when you get rid of Gardy.

Don't know.

Chris went to HS with KidRock, prolly snorted plenty of his inheritance a little early.

Oh in that case, I would say definitely. Ah Kid Rock, the guy with rich parents, who claims to be straight out of the trailer park.
