The only good thing from a fantasy perspective about Sale going to Boston is the run-support. And he already got a lot of wins anyway with Chicago. It's a disaster in m opinion for him going to Boston. Will he still be good? Probably. But nowhere near what he was in Chicago. Now he goes to a hitter-friendly park in a division where he will be facing the Yankees, Orioles and Blue Jays often...in hitter-friendly parks. Not to mention it seems like every good pitcher that goes to Boston just face-plants anyway.

Both were righties... Lefties historically are much worse... Look at Lester's numbers, he may have just had ONE elite season as a red sox...

Btw, I watched Thor pitch yesterday. He wasn't at his sharpest, but if anyone is scared off by the bone spur issue, I wouldn't be.

The only people who should be scared this year are the batters who will have to face him.

believe he is commonly seen to be the #4 pitcher in fantasy... don't think there are too many owners afraid to draft him...

That's what I would think, but I got him in our dynasty league surprisingly easily, imo...from our reigning champion, no less. Some people hafta have some red flags up. Lol, I'd target him in any league I'm in if I suspect his owner may be a little nervous.

Carlos Rodon
Raisiel Iglesias
7th pick in the first round.

I got:
Noah Syndergaard
David Robertson
Dominic Smith
16th pick in the third round.

So it's not like I got a steal, I gave up a lot of potential firepower. However, in our points league, Aces are gold. I'd do this deal again in a minute.

Very hard to compare... It wasn't JUST the move that hurt Greinke... his stuff was just not that strong...


But i am not high on Sale at all this season... His SO rates have been going down, and that is not a good sign for a lefty pitcher in a ball park where righty hitters have the HUGE advantage...

If his SO rates continue to go down, then he might have a greinke bad season... But just like Greinke, the biggest fantasy advantage of these players is that they almost definitely will pitch more than 200 innings...
