i think the start of the season will be bumpy. As the oline gels things get better and the Hawks end the season hot. Sound familiar?

I expect the OL to hold up ok the first couple weeks. GB is not that impressive up front, and then it's the 49ers. Playcaller and QB need to help out the greenhorn LT as much as possible.

I think the DL should be absolutely menacing. Teams without an excellent group of blockers is going to be in serious trouble against them.

Lacy will be good but not great. I think Prosise is the guy who pops the most in the RB group, talent-wise.

It's there for the taking this year.

I think the o-line does well in pass protection, but it'll be the RB's that'll have to make something happen with average run blocking. Carson inches his way throughout the year, and shines once one of our guys gets put on IR; it's inevitable.

I think this is the year that we see vintage Jimmy, and with our fragile WR corp he will be the one constant throughout the year.

The D is going to be downright nasty, and barring injury will be the #1 D in all of football. They will keep us in every game, and even in defeat I don't see any double digit losses all year.

People have the Hawks as their pick in the Super Bowl, but pick the Packers to beat us in week one. It doesn't happen, Hawks come out and go full KC Chiefs on their ass taking #1 in the power rankings that'll last all year.

I'm a homer, but I'm a realist too. This team goes as far as they allow themselves to go, they're stacked!

I am liking the way this 2017 team has looked. The roster seems to be put together pretty well, I have high expectations for this team. Pumped to get the season underway.

Here is to a good season :suds:

I think RW will have his best season yet... I don't have much expectations for Lacy... 6 TD's/770 yards...

I like our chances at finishing 12-4 for the season... We should sweep the 49ers and Rams this season...

You guys remember when we were constantly told

"Seahawks window is closing."

"They'll Never be able to keep and pay all their top players."

As long as Wilson, Baldwin, Kam, Wagner and Thomas are around the window is always open.

Yeah, this FO has done a masterful job at retaining the best players. And it's much easier to build a team around a QB than it is to build a team and then find a QB. NE's window has been open for pretty much Brady's whole career. Same with GB & Rodgers. Pittsburgh with Ben. Russell is 28; we should be able to continue contender status for most of the next decade.

My all time favorite

Super- 7-9 Twice. See Pete can't coach. HA Ha.

Us- if you watched the games you would have seen massive improvements of the team.

Since

ever year winning record and of course Super Bowl

If our o-line can improve every game, great things can happen this season.

For sure. The OL is of course a bit of a wildcard/unknown right now, but to my untrained eye it seems to be at a better starting point than the last couple years. Odhiambo & Ifedi will probably have issues early with inexperience, but the middle of the line looks pretty solid. If we can keep rushers from penetrating up the middle, I think RW can handle edge guys most of the time.
