Sucks to hear about the lack of excitement. Road courses were usually the ones I enjoyed watching the most.
The Toyota's are just so much better than everyone else it's not even funny anymore. Every race is the Kyle and Truex show, and they have to screw up to lose. There is no beating them straight up.

Hendricks loses Jr. and Kahne after the season. Maybe Hendricks is going to a two-team approach. Just kidding.

If he does the expected and puts Byron in the 5 for next season, Hendricks is effectively a 1 car team next season...maybe 1.5 if Chase takes a step forward.

Agreed Gopher fan. The mighty Hendricks machine is going through a rebuild with Jeem as the only vet returning with any sort of winning and championships experience.

William Byron to the 5 car next year. Knew he was gonna get called up. Killing it on the Xfinity series.

And he will outshine Chase Elliott in the long run. Book it.

I've never been sold on Chase Elliott. He runs some good races but I just don't see it in him to be a big big name in the sport. I think Ryan Blaney has a brighter future than Elliot does, especially now that Blaney will be driving for Penske next year.

I think Blaney and Larson will be the two favorites for the title most years after guys like Jimmie Johnson and Kevin Harvick retire and Kyle Busch gets some more age on him.

Definitely. Truex will be around for a while too and I feel he's gonna be a contender every year til he retires. I can see all the Penske guys being in the hunt every year. I also like Erik Jones. Hes a good driver but sometimes he forces it a little too much. I can see Joe Gibbs Racing taking a step back because Suarez is less than impressive, Busch isn't performing the same, Hamlin is consistent and Jones is a big if.

Another thing is look at Hendrick Motorsports next year. Chase Elliott, Jimmie Johnson, William Byron and Alex Bowman. I can see a step back for them too. I could see Matt Kenseth in the 77 or the 41 if Kurt Busch is not resigned.

Had to laugh at Larry Mac last night as he was talking about kahne, said NASCAR is based on performance. Bawhahaha!!! And he said it while sitting next to Austin Dillon.

In a way, Harvick is right. But, this is just me, I don't root for the guy who always wins. I've always been an underdog kinda guy. I'm a Jimmie Johnson hater simply because he wins too much. But part of what Harvick said is right. Imagine the popularity and the growth of the sport of the sports most popular driver was the most successful driver.

Bill Elliot use to win most popular all the time and he barely did jack shit in the 90s yet the sport still grew leaps and bounds. Harvick doesn't know what the fuck he's talking about.

What stunted the sport (more like cut off its legs) was that Brian France fellow that starting fucking around with format and car changes in the mid 00s and can't keep his hands off of it every single season

If you get a chance to watch Racing Roots with Kyle Larson, check out the part where Kyle and Kyle run the outlaw karts. My son has raced these karts with Kyle for years, and has raced about 35 tracks across the US. They are a kick in the ass.
