I am warming up to the notion that this draft may land us some decent players as the class of UDFA were signed. The Eldrencamp kid is especially intriguing and will get a shot at working at center. Maybe things will change. Maybe.

We are too busy talking offensive line, when credit goes to the Rams for addressing a bigger concern, the defensive line, which had more questions than the offensive line. For one, Sims and Hayes are gone, secondly Quinn can't be counted on.

Add the Smart kid and we are pretty stout and younger! Not to mention Longacre, Westbrooks, and Trinca-Pissant and we are definitely pretty stout.

Also, I have been reading a lot about the drafted LBs Price and Ebukam and these guys are pretty darn good in their own right. They got in under the radar but they are pretty darn good LBs. They both remind me of one London Fletcher. Not real tall but squat-big and they bring speed and a punch to their play just like London. Excellent!

We may have a very good defense this year and just like Phillips, he does it without a lot of fanfare. Like I stated, I am beginning to warm-up to this draft.

After the draft, the Los Angeles Rams signed 11 undrafted free agents. We did some research and found some of the most interesting facts.

Last season, the Rams signed 19 undrafted free agents. More than half of those players are still on the team roster. In fact, linebacker Cory Littleton was even named rookie of the year for the Rams in 2016.

If this year is any indication, some of the undrafted free agents will have a real impact in the NFL.

1. Aarion Penton chose the Rams over the Broncos
Originally from St. Louis, this defensive back chose to play for the Los Angeles Rams rather than sign with the Denver Broncos.
2. Both the offensive linemen will get a chance at center
Rams GM Les Snead on the undrafted free agents at offensive line: “Coach Kromer really identified somebody we might have drafted in the seventh round. We were able to get him so that was good.”

3. UCLA defensive back was most recently a wide receiver
Ishmael Adams was a running back at Oaks Christian during high school, then recorded eight interceptions at UCLA — including 3 touchdowns.

4. USC running back has a shot to make the roster
When the Rams lost Benny Cunningham to the Chicago Bears earlier this offseason, they lost legitimate depth at running back. Davis adds value.

5. Folarin Orimolade graduated early from the Ivy League
The new Rams linebacker graduated two terms with from Dartmouth with a degree in Economics, per Greg Beachem.
